Over 7 years ago, I begun my journey into saddle fitting by watching my mentor, Ann Jacobson with Jacobson’s Saddlery, fit my growing Thoroughbred gelding. With all the changes he experienced in his build, muscle, and overall development, having someone by my side to support his changing needs was life-giving for our relationship. I was worried, frustrated, nervous, and Ann brought me peace. I did it for the relationship between my me and my horse.
Having a saddle fitter by my side every step of the way brought balance and confidence to my riding. My horse became stronger and I, more confident in what I was asking him to do. It made me a better equestrian and horse mom. I think everyone deserves to feel this way. I believe you deserve to feel that way. It’s why I went into this line of work.
